You can upgrade your Designer without additional uninstallation process, by simply running the newer version of installation file. To upgrade Designer, complete the following steps:
Double-click the newer version of installation file to run the installer.

Select update options and click Next.

Update options | Description |

1 Update and Initialize Configuration | Initialize all Designer settings, including the license, server information, and user options, while updating Designer. |
2 Update | Only upgrade Designer and maintain all Designer settings, including the license, server information, and user options. |
Files you have created, including the project and process files, will not be deleted, regardless of the selected option.
Click Finish when the update is complete.
